Garco Industries, Inc., based out Pharr, Texas was
established in 1992 by Jerry Garza, a lifetime resident
of the city of Pharr.
Jerry started his business working small utility
construction jobs with a 3 man crew. On the job, Jerry
would do a variety of tasks ranging from picking up a
shovel and manually digging to operating the one and
only rented backhoe. He did anything necessary to
complete everything from residential driveways to 5 and
10 acre developments. Jerry worked hard at every level
of his business to successfully finish a job.

Since then, Jerry’s dedication to his work has
earned him the confidence of many developers.
They place their trust in him and know that in
return they can expect attention to detail,
excellent quality in his work, and a job
completed on time. Jerry has worked on
subdivisions and utility projects of all sizes.
He
has completed work for private developers and projects
for cities all along the Rio Grande Valley including
McAllen, Mission, Pharr and Edinburg, to name a few. |

Garco currently staffs 29 full time employees and
frequently contracts expansion crews for temporary
assignment. Along with a complete fleet of construction
equipment, transport vehicles and service trucks, Garco
also has an in-house mechanic shop with 3 full time
mechanics to eliminate any downtime on equipment.
